CERTIFIED MINDFULNESS MEDITATION PRACTITIONER AND FOUNDER
Authenticity Movement is a space dedicated to embodied healing and was founded on the belief that mindfulness offers us the opportunity to come back home to our authentic self. This space is a container for everyone to get free from the things that keep us all from showing up as our whole selves. We integrate the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our indvidual and collective consciousness, to restore the mind, body and spirit. Breaking away from old ways of thinking and being is necessary as we shift into remebering who we already are. From this moment forward there is no more becoming, only being.
Mindfulness is the experience and practice of being fully present in the present, awake to the truth of 'what is', infused with love and in the service of liberation. Meditation is a contemplative, mind-body-soul practice that includes a diverse set of intentional strategies for the practice of training directing, regulating, enhancing and/or expanding attention, consciousness and energy. To meditate is to discover new possibilities and awaken our capacity to release that which blocks and seperates us from truth, wisdom, higher knowing and our interconnected oneness.
A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by healing instruments such as singing bowls, percussion, chimes and even the human voice itself. While there are many types of sound therapies, all of them help to restore the normal vibratory frequencies of the cells in our bodies, which can in turn lead us back to optimal well being.
